Maggie Macnab: Decoding Design

It took me a considerable amount of effort to get hold of this book because I could not afford to buy it, however luckily I was able to apply for an inter-loan request from the university library.

Maggie Macnab, a lecturer who teaches logo design discusses symbolism and visual literacy throughout her book, discovering and interpreting symbols to communicate complicated logo concepts. I genially think this is a must read for designers and visual communicators, I think is will most definitely come in handy for my practice; I just wish I did not have to return it.

If you can afford £316, at the moment you can buy it here, otherwise you can buy the eBook of this for much cheaper.
