Going back to my previous post, for my practice and Literature review I am continuing to look into honesty’ in packaging design and advertising within food products and drinks. I am focusing on the products sold in a variety of different types of supermarkets in the UK.
My first spot of honesty with Sainsbury’s was within their Basics range designed by Williams Murray Hamm. Each of the different products in the range has quotes on their packaging. However, it then came apparent that Sainsbury’s merchandise these products next to their ‘By Sainsbury’s’ range; which is almost basics with an exception of the price and the design on the packaging.
